A Reno, Nevada native, Stephen Dankworth graduated from the University of the Pacific Dental School with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. With a passion for continuing education and commitment to quality dentistry, Dr. Dankworth learned what makes patients most comfortable and satisfied with their dental treatments. This experience, combined with his technical education, allowed Dr. Dankworth to found his practice on solid principles of compassionate, comprehensive dental care.

Smiles for Life
The Dankworths have been members of the Crown Council, an association of elite dentists throughout the United States and Canada, for more than 10 years. La Costa Dental Excellence has helped the Crown Council raise more than 22 million dollars for children’s charities through its involvement with Crown Council’s Smiles for Life campaign.
Each year from March 1 through June 30, La Costa Dental Excellence offers teeth whitening at a reduced price. The cost of all teeth whitening treatments performed during these months will be donated to organizations and charities across the United States that benefit needy children, including the local Children’s Hospital of San Diego. In 2000, Crown Council’s charitable foundation teamed up with Garth Brooks’ Teammates for Kids organization and began sharing their combined contributions with needy children in Africa.
